  1. Small markets can work if people are spending money in that area–but the point in the video is valid: market research is critical! Also really, really large markets can be disappointing if no money is changing hands. It’s a lot of trial and error with markets too–you can have a great idea and then it flops or you just overestimated your interest in that particular market–that can be expected, but you’re only out the cost of the domain and your time so failing is not devastating.

  2. Naked Mole-Rats are a bad choice for something that is not interesting. I can think of many rodents that are less interesting than naked mole-rats. They have co-operative breeding, somewhat like an ant colony – something mammals don’t do.

    BUT the discussion is interesting. Darren, Sonia and Brian are certainly some of the big guys in the blogging world.
